Navigating Buy Sell Agreements & Funding Shareholder Exits

  • November 20, 2025
  • 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM
  • Live Online Event - Recording Available

A properly structured Buy-Sell Agreement ensures the continuity of your business if a shareholder exits due to death, disability, illness, or retirement. It outlines how ownership will be transferred and how the transaction will be funded.

When working with clients, we, as advisors, should collaborate with their team - lawyers, accountants, financial advisors/planners, insurance specialists.  All need to understand their client's game plan and use the same playbook.  We all work collaboratively to mitigate risk, ensuring our client, their assets, business and family are always protected. We will discuss these main points;

Why it matters • Common Triggers • Funding the Agreement • Life Insurance For Buy Sell Agreements • Disability Buy Out Coverage • Shareholder Agreement Flowchart • Regular Review and Integration
