Karen Tyrell, CDP, CPCA, CDCP, is a Canadian dementia consultant, educator & author. She has over 25 years of experience working in the senior care industry and extensive passion and knowledge in the arena of supporting people in all stages of dementia...as well as their caregivers.

As the CEO of Personalized Dementia Solutions Inc., Karen shares her expertise through speaking engagements and dementia education for both frontline staff and families. She also works privately with families to provide emotional support and practical solutions to help alleviate everyday challenges associated with dementia.

Vessa Samson is the Director of Marketing and Growth at Tochtech Technologies, a Vancouver based digital technology organization that is developing world-first solutions to support seniors age independently and safely.Working with seniors, caregivers and organizations serving the seniors community Tochtech’s strategy is to using innovation to enable seniors to age in the comfort of their homes and better connect them with caregivers.

With an MBA from the Melbourne Business School in Australia, Vessa also consults to BC health authorities on virtual care implementation and is passionate on transforming healthcare through innovation to better serve and reach communities.
